How to have a smooth transaction with tenants in place - Hear a landlord perspective and a property management perspective on how agents can be more prepared when representing a seller or a buyer in a transaction when tenants occupy the property.

As a Realtor representing either a seller or a buyer, this class will provide a checklist of steps and conversations to have to better protect your client and help the transaction to move along more effectively and efficiently.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, executive orders at the state level and federal legislation have been passed that COAR members should be aware of. In this webinar, attorney Sarah Harlos will discuss the Governor’sstatewide eviction moratorium, as well as the current legal environment surrounding the order. For the second part of the webinar, NAR’s Zack Rubin-McCarry will discuss the$2 trillion COVID-19 stimulus package, known as the CARES Act, recently signed into law by President Trump. The bill contains numerous benefits for REALTORS® that NAR fought hard for, including unemployment eligibility for the self-employed and independent contractors; unprecedented aid for small businesses; and a delay in business payroll tax payments.

COAR and OAR will host the event virtually via webinar now in two parts on April 16th and 17th, 9-11:30 AM on both days. Led by NAR staff and political consultants from REAL Strategies, the Candidate Training Academy is intended for REALTOR® members and REALTOR®-friendly candidates running for office at the state and local levels. However, local businesspeople, those working in real estate-related fields and anyone interested in protecting Oregon's real estate industry are also welcome to attend.
